At Seniors Helping Seniors® Northern Summit County & Brecksville, we have a passion for meeting the needs of seniors in a way that provides both dignity and a sense of camaraderie. Our owner(s) Cindy Walker firmly believe we can do that through serving seniors in our community, which includes: your area.
As a caregiver to seniors in her own family, Cindy Walker, owner and operator of Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services throughout Northern Summit County and Brecksville, Ohio has an intimate understanding of what it takes to provide loving, quality care for seniors in need. For caregivers there is a balance that must be attained between providing care, spending quality time with loved ones, and taking care of personal needs. This balance is often very hard to achieve. Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services can help to provide that respite care for family caregivers by offering trustworthy, compassionate care to seniors.
By matching seniors who need help with a senior who wants to help, family members are able to spend quality time with their loved ones and feel confident in the quality of care being provided. In addition to gaining quality time, the seniors who need help are well taken care of, while remaining independent in their own home and maintaining their dignity.
The senior Providers who work with Cindy offer a number of services including transportation assistance, pet sitting, house maintenance, yard work, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, and most importantly, companionship.
Cindy has had a long career as a consultant in the Information Technology field and her work has provided the opportunity to travel around the United States. Inspired by the need to serve her surrounding community, Cindy has always taken time during her travels to volunteer at local hospitals and community service organizations. Currently, she is a member of the Greater Cleveland Volunteers where she helped with the Senior Olympic Games sponsored by a local hospital.
Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services has sites throughout the U.S. The organization was founded by Kiran Yocom, who has a mission and a passion to help seniors live independently. Kiran’s personal interest in seniors grew out of her work with Mother Teresa. She leads the organization through compassion and caring for all.
